Together, we can nurture the potential of your child and watch them soar to new heights of learning and achievement.
Children’s interests and happiness are at the heart of everything we do at Little Parrott’s Childcare. It is proven that when a child is well cared for and is placed at the centre of their own learning, they are able to achieve the highest levels of wellbeing. High wellbeing results in the highest quality involvement, learning and development.
“Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right. Good parenting and high quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.” EYFS 2021
The Early Years Foundation stage Framework states:
“Children learn best when they are healthy, safe and secure, when their individual needs are met, and when they have positive relationships with the adults caring for them”

At Little Parrotts, we deliver the highest standards of Care & Education for all children who attend our setting. Our practice is delivered in accordance with a statutory framework called the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
The EYFS sets the standards for Learning, Development and Care for children aged birth to five. To ensure that children learn and develop well, we shape our curriculum around the 7 areas of learning detailed in the EYFS.
To find out more about the statutory framework, please follow the link below or ask one of our knowledgable practitioners at the nursery who would be happy to talk it through with you in more detail.
