0 – 2 years
In the comfort of the Parrott Nest is where the youngest of our children begin their journeys with us.
Providing soft furnishings for cosy time and lower level resources to enhance exploration and imagination, your baby will flourish in this warm, caring, home from home environment.
Your baby will be matched to a member of staff who will become their key worker, allowing special bonds to be formed, increasing your babies’ sense of security and well-being. Your babies’ keyworker will learn your babies’ routine and ques to keep the transition between nursery and home life as smooth as possible.
The staff:child ratio in this room is 1:3.
A sleeping area with a variety of cots is within the Parrott Nest. Calming music/white noise, dimmed lights and soft furnishings are all available to help your baby achieve a peaceful sleep if required.
Parrott Chicks
2 – 3 years
Parrott Chicks is where our toddlers come to explore and learn as their personality and curiosity grows! This room supports our toddlers developing minds by offering a wide variety of activities and equipment including role play, construction, dressing up, messy play, mark making, counting and reading.
Your toddler will be matched to a member of staff who will become their keyworker, allowing special bonds to be formed increasing your childs sense of security and well being. Your childs keyworker will observe your child regularly and plan appropriate development experiences to promote your child’s learning and development. The staff:child ratio in this room is 1:5
Toddlers in this room have access to cots for sleeping if required.
Pre-School Parrotts
3 – 5 years
Our preschool room is an engaging space carefully designed to support the needs of children aged 3-5. It is mindfully arranged to promote and foster a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for early learning and development.
The room is filled with age appropriate learning resources to encourage growing independence and socialisation whilst supporting children to become ready for school.
A reading corner, a dramatic role play area with dress up costumes, a kitchen, a sensory table filled with various textures and materials, and a dedicated arts and crafts station all feature in our preschool room, these areas provide plenty of opportunities for imaginative play, language development, fine motor skills and sensory exploration.
Our preschool leader expertly works closely with you and your child to support holistic development and wellbeing and allow your child to achieve to their fullest potential.
