Welcome

A warm welcome to Little Parrotts Childcare, we love spending time with you and your children to help them to learn, laugh and fly! We invite you to come and visit us to see for yourself the amazing, personal, childcare we offer.
Little Parrotts has always been a personable, child centred childcare provision, providing home from home childcare to allow parents/carers to leave their children, safe in the knowledge that they will receive the same level of care and devotion that they would give.
We provide exceptional early childhood education and foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive. We strive to inspire a love for learning, ignite curiosity, and empower children with the skills and confidence they need for a successful future.
Our mission is to provide a caring, happy and safe environment for all children to enjoy developmentally appropriate play experiences, tailored to their interests.

Note from Christine:
“As a mum of 3 children myself, I recognise the importance of a safe and nurturing environment for our little ones. Early Childhood is the beginning of our life story, it is crucial that we successfully work in partnership to shape a child’s holistic development and a build secure foundations for their futures.”
Little Parrotts Childcare was established in 2020 by Christine Parrott.
Our Environments
An enabling environment provides children with the space and resources to play, explore and learn.
Every child at Little Parrotts Childcare, from birth to the age of 5, are grouped together by age and developmental stage throughout their time with us.
These groups are organised into three rooms:
Parrott Nest (0-2yrs), Parrott Chicks (2-3yrs) and Parrotts Preschool (3-5yrs).

Parrott Nest
0 – 2 years

Parrott Chicks
2 – 3 years

Pre-School Parrotts

Our Rooms
In each of our rooms we have purposely designed and created a comforting, calm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. These calming, natural spaces support every child’s growing need for independence and play a vital part in children’s wellbeing.
The rooms are rich in opportunities to explore and develop through play, accented with well thought out resources that are carefully placed to support and ignite children’s natural curiosity and desire to learn.
Each of our rooms is led by a fully qualified Room Leader who works closely with a small team of qualified practitioners within key person roles.
